1. Can RoamNet write coverage for other than automotive related businesses?
Yes. When written in conjunction with one of our many business property and casualty products, we also offer workers' compensation coverage. Click on the "available classes" tab for a complete listing and a listing of qualified workers' compensation class codes.
2. What are the base rates for workers' compensation?
Our rates are very competitive and credits can be applied according to the individual risk. We recommend submitting for a quote.
3. Where is RoamNet located?
RoamNet Insurance Marketing Programs is located in southern California area, in the city of Ontario.
4. Where is the underwriting and processing completed?
All underwriting, quoting and binding duties are performed by RoamNet in their Ontario, CA office.
5. How are renewals processed?
Policies are reviewed at expiration.
We request that updated applications and loss runs be submitted 30 days in advance but in no case later than 15 days in advance of the expiration date in order to quote the renewal premium.
6. What is the turnaround time for quotes and policies?
Turn around time for many quotes is 24 to 48 hours. Policies are received by client within 10 working days.
7. Is there a minimum premium for this program?
The minimum premium for all class codes is currently $5000 for workers' compensation. Written with the unsupported automotive related Workers' Compensation Program.
8. Is any unique underwriting information required?
Other than the Acord application and the Supplemental application, the
only other specific information is three year currently valued loss
runs and three year historic payroll information for the workers' compensation product. For the small business property and casualty business an Acord application and currently valued 3 year loss history is all that is required.
